This list of participating countries is for U.S. teachers only. If you are an international teacher, please click here to find the list of countries which participate in and send teachers to the U.S. for the DA program.

*Participating countries are subject to change for 2018-2019 program.

U.S. teachers may apply for a grant in one of several participating countries/territories. Click on the name of each country or territory to learn more about its educational system. Applicants determine the length of their program within the eligible program dates listed for each country/territory. Applicants are encouraged, but not required, to go abroad at the beginning of the eligible grant periods (e.g., in January if you propose to go to Finland in spring).

Please consider all the participating countries when developing your application for the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program.
